I'd like to implement the functionality of having an admin subscribe all members of a DNN role to a feed.  And then allowing individuals to opt-out of the feed by unchecking the check box.

Right now, that functionality sort of works in that as an admin, I can subscribe a role to a feed, and see all the people subscribed to it in the Manage Subscriptions tab.  Then, as an individual member of that role, a user can actually unsubscribe herself by unchecking the checkbox.

However, I noticed that when new people are added to the DNN role, those people don't show up in the list of Manage Subscriptions.  For example, I have a DNN role called "SFR_Bloggers".  This role matches an existing Active Directory group in my corporate domain, and when users are added to the Active Directory SFR_Bloggers group and they log in to the DNN website, I can see that they are also included in the DNN SFR_Bloggers role (under Admin -> Security Roles -> SFR_Bloggers -> Manage Users in this Role.   I've also added other DNN users directly into that role from the DNN interface.

However, when I go to the FeedMailer -> Manage -> Manage Subscriptions tab and look at the list of people who are subscribed to that feed, only the people who were originally part of that role when it was first subscribed to the role actually show up.  All the people who were added to the role afterwards are not included in this list.

Is there a way for users who are added to a role after it's been subscribed to a feed to also be subscribed to that feed?   At the same time, I'd like to keep the functionality where an individual member role can unsubscribe him/herself without having to leave the role.

        Hi -

I'm testing this locally at the moment and will post a new build once I'm satisfied it works properly.

          Hi -

Just to let you know that FeedMailer 1.4.5 has been released.

You can find the Latest Version page under Modules > FeedMailer.
